Trust me, this will probably be one of the weirdest websites you ever find yourself scrolling through. It's not a conventional storytelling platform and I often use a lot of different mediums to achieve my goals. Keep an open mind as you read through my project; it's taken me many years to get to where I am and I'm pretty proud of it.
In a real-world context, this project is my life's work. In a fantasy context, with which I feel I've lived most of my life, this is my work telling you the history and lives of a world that never existed. For years upon years I've heard these characters tell me their stories, and for all that time I never really knew what they meant. Finally, I connected dots and found that it all came from one place.
Over the years I've had the fortune to create stories such as Bosh & Brave, Winston & the Familiar, and Olivia of the Nether. All of these titles have been a different process in their own respect, some being audio dramas while others are the longest thing I've ever written in my life, and yet they are all connected.
I thought to myself while I brought Origin to life that it couldn't be just one platform. I couldn't just write a bunch of novels and say I'd done the characters justice. Not all of them could thrive that way. You needed to her how sweet Paige's voice was, but you needed to read how confused a leader and lover Olivia was. There was a way to experience some of these stories, and I had to chose what the right ones were.
Origin, for the Nexus, is the planet where it all starts. It's the one we follow from a time where Gods and titans roam aimlessly through the world to a day where humans no longer find it fit to live on. Through these various stories on these various platforms, we see how a history of people, individuals with a goal and path of their own, contribute to Origin's history. Through the eyes of Death herself, we see the world's intricate roots combine and twist into something truly amazing.
I've created this site because I need a platform where you can find of the Nexus' different strands and grab hold of them. Black Moor, The Untold Vale... These sites are for everyone. They aren't just for my vision, though in so many ways they've helped create it. They are spaces I wanted to create for everyone and all of their stories.
This one will lay out a map for you to follow. Learn about Origin's history and the meanings behind different stories. I'll also be posting additional content; short stories, snippits from social media and even graphics, letters, photos and other memorabilia from Origin.
